I've heard of AG1 but never tried it. And to be honest it does seem rather expensive. Thanks for doing the research into it and posting your views!

Thanks. Since it has such a big following in the wellness world, I wanted to see for myself if it was worthy of all the hype. Although everyone needs to make their own choice. I know people who like it and it works for them.

Very interesting read of AG1! I have been using it for a few months - not daily... probably at least 5 x per week and I do feel more energy on the days I get my AG1 in. Thanks for this comprehensive review.

Great breakdown of Athletic Greens! I have been so curious about this product but did not really know if the benefits lived up to the hype. I think it's a skip for me!

Thanks Christina. It was an interesting deep dive for me. The information on the FDA regulations was quite interesting and eye opening for me for all dietary supplements.

I remember when I first discovered “green smoothies” with emphasis on GREEN and SMOOTH.

After a few days, I was so noticeably focused and energized it was astounding!

So, half a banana, half avocado, 4-5 cups greens (for me, it was collards because I grew them in my garden), celery, chia seeds, cinnamon, whatever else I had on hand, and for literally pennies a day I bought energy, focus and who knows what other health benefits.

So buying these ubiquitous green products is just not on my list.

I used AG1 last year daily for about 5 months. I fell off a little after that, and even though I changed my subscription, I have way too much. I started to reduce some supplements I was taking but after the 5 months, I really didn't feel any different. (And the amount of some things weren't as much as what I was taking via pill: ie: Vitamin D and omegas). You're supposed to drink it about 10-15 minutes before a meal (usually breakfast). They do a good job however on the taste, it doesn't taste 'very green' and has a little tint of vanilla and pineapple to me. It's not horrible tasting but I just didn't feel a marked difference. If you take it daily, in the US, it's $79/month (30 day amounts) which depending on other supplements you might take for 30 days could be more or less so you have to weigh that as well.
