Thank you for sharing! My husband loves to experiment with cocktails and he used to use regular soda, but over the past year or so made the switch to Olipop. He enjoys it, and has also started enjoying no sugar added kombucha.

Definitely, they are a better option than regular soda but shouldn’t really be looked at as a big benefit to gut health. Now kombucha with minimal sugar is a good guy health option.

My son loves the poppi cranberry, and I can say I was thrilled he chose to buy this over a can of coke or cranberry ginger ale or Fanta!

Another popular one around here - at least based on the positioning in the store!!! - is zevia. The ginger ale is the flavour I have bought periodically. I actually enjoy the zevia… this said my other son feels sick after drinking zevia, he just drinks water or plain san Pelegrino.

Thanks for the breakdown! I've tried a couple of these sodas and they always give me a stomach ache (I assume from the fiber content and/or the artificial sweeteners?). I've been sticking to seltzer/flavored sparkling water when I'm in the mood for soda.

I wouldn’t think it was the fiber content because it is low by food standards. But it may have been the type of fiber they use. But yes, sticking to sparkling water is better and get your fiber from other sources.

Thanks for letting me know! There’s something that doesn’t sit right with me in these sodas, who knows what it is. I’ll keep drinking my seltzer!

Personally I'd opt for some kombucha instead of these new 'soda' drinks. And it's easy to make at home as well.

Yes that is a great alternative. And making it at home is much healthier for you as the store bought ones can also be high is added sugar.

I think the future of soda needs to be making our own.
