I Have a New Obsession
and a matcha creme brulee recipe - a treat for St. Patrick's Day. Animal based carnivore style
I have to admit that I have been a little bit distracted from my Substack this week.
I have taken up the art of crocheting.
I needed to make a little change in my habits as I found that I was on my technology a bit too much for my liking. So to keep my hands and mind busy and to replace the doom scrolling and reading online, I chose crocheting.
But who knew there was so much to learn. With the 100’s ( yes 100’s) of different crochet stitches, I now think I have gotten the hang of the chain stitch, single, double and triple crochet. And that was after starting and unraveling my project 3 times..
This blanket is going to be amazing when I finally finish it.
So as you can see my time has been taken up with learning this new hobby. So instead of a regular informative post, I have a recipe for you instead.
Fun fact about me is that I am not a real dessert sweet type person. But I will not say no to a good crème brulee.
So here is a recipe for a Matcha Creme Brulee if you are looking for a little green for St. Patrick’s Day.
And the best thing about this dessert is it is actually 5 ingredients and is a good option for an animal based carnivore diet ( minus the sugar topping but I have included another option for that), egg yolk, cream, raw honey, matcha and a little vanilla.
