If you have been trying to follow the carnivore lifestyle, either strict carnivore or an animal based keto version for World Carnivore Month and are looking for a little more variety, I have a few options for you.

Yes, you can have pizza or some of your other favourite dishes on an animal based carnivore or keto diet.

It is important to note that these are very simple recipes made with simple ingredients and can always be modified to meet your needs as you deem necessary.

First off..Pizza

Preheat oven to 350F

To make this pizza crust your will need:

1 can of 10 oz chicken breast OR

1 - 10 oz chicken breast, cooked and then chopped in a food processor

1 large egg

1/4 cup of parmesan or mozzarella cheese

salt and pepper (you can also add some dried oregano or dried basil)

Mix all together thoroughly. On a cooking sheet or round pizza pan, using unbleached parchment, flatten out the mixture to a round or rectangle shape for your pizza to your desired thickness. I like a more thin crust pizza.

Bake for approximately 20 -25 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and then proceed to add toppings (Meat and cheese). You can add a small amount of tomato sauce on the crust as this is animal based carnivore safe.

Then place back into the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Cool, cut and enjoy!

This pizza will serve 2 or one hungry carnivore!
